I get it. I've been there. In fact, 2025 was the first year I stopped doing that and started treating my life and my business like an architecture project. Here's how to use AI in your business planning for 2026 and how it actually works.

You'll never achieve goals that conflict with who you believe you are. Identity shift must happen first because your subconscious will sabotage any goal that contradicts your self-image, no matter how motivated you feel in January.


Here's what I learned the hard way: When I was trying to "be consistent on camera" while still identifying as "someone who hates being on camera," I failed every time. The identity won.


The moment I shifted to "someone who uses strategic visibility as leverage," everything changed. I stopped fighting myself and started designing systems that matched who I was becoming.


Your identity shift protocol:

  1. Write your biggest 2026 goal.

  2. Ask: "Who is the person who already achieved this?"

  3. List 3 traits they embody (punctual, decisive, visible).

  4. Pick ONE trait to install this month.

  5. Create daily micro-actions that prove this new identity and cement it.


Example: Goal requires being "decisive"? Make three business decisions in under 5 minutes daily. After 30 days, you're not trying to be decisive, you ARE decisive. The goal doesn't change who you are. Who you become makes the goal inevitable.
